About Me
Hi, I’m Alida — a 19-year-old Creative Media Management student at UCLL.
I’ve had a passion for photography and videography for as long as I can remember. From the moment I realised this is what I wanted to do, I started pursuing it with more intention. Ever since, I’ve been driven by the desire to create visuals that make people feel something — work that stays with you, even after the moment has passed.
Solace is a brand I created to express my thoughts and ideas through visual storytelling. But to me, it’s more than just that.
It’s a space where creativity and collaboration come together.
Whether it’s conceptual art or a commercial project,
I’m more than happy to help bring it to life .
Experience
1 – Introduction
Every project starts with a conversation.
We’ll talk about your ideas, vision, style, and the feeling you want to capture.
This helps me understand your story and create visuals that truly fit your identity.
2 – Pre-Production
Once the direction is clear, we’ll build the concept together.
This can include moodboards, locations, storyboards, scenario’s, styling, lighting ideas, … .
3 – Shoot Day(s)
During the shoot, I focus on creating a comfortable and creative environment.
Whether you have experience in front of the camera or not, I’ll guide you throughout the process so everything feels natural and effortless.
I always aim for a balance between storytelling, emotion, and strong visual composition.
4 – Editing & Post-Production
After the shoot, I carefully select and edit the final visuals.
This is where the atmosphere, colors, and cinematic feeling truly come together.
Every image and video is edited with attention to detail while staying true to the original moment.
5 – Final Delivery
Once everything is finished, you’ll receive the final gallery or video in high quality and ready to share.
I always try to reach this point as quickly as possible, but this naturally depends on the project type.
Behind the scenes
One of my favorite things about creating visual work is seeing an idea slowly come to life.
From the first conversation to the final result, I genuinely enjoy the creative process and the energy that comes with it.
Working together, sharing ideas, and creating something unique is what makes every shoot special to me.
